Trabocchi Coast & Sumptuous Seafood Lunch
Day Tour Description
Discover the unique Trabocchi Coast, a stretch of coastline that lies between Ortona and San Salvo along the Adriatic Sea. The coast is named after the wooden fishing huts, built out over the water, that exist only in Abruzzo. We will visit the beautiful Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere, that provides a lovely lookout over the coast in Venere and also visit Aragonese Castel in Ortona.
Lunch will be a truly special experience that you will remember for years to come. We will enjoy a fresh seafood feast on a Trabocco, with local dishes such as Brodetto di Pesche, a delicate seafood stew, and fritto misto, which is a mixure of gourmet-sized shallow-fried seafood.
The afternoon wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the famed Fountain of Wine. The fountain, which is provided by a local winery and open free to the public, must be seen to be believed!
